The value of a Friends Select education is incalculable.
However, the cost of educating a child is measurable and on the rise. Tuition provides 80 percent of the school's operating revenue. To fill the gap, Friends Select relies on income from the endowment and the generosity of our community. These contributions create a strong financial foundation, allowing the school’s leadership to adapt to evolving needs.
There are many ways to support Friends Select School. You can designate your gift to a program, or make your gift in honor of someone special like a beloved coach or teacher, or in memory of a loved one.

You may designate a specific amount or percentage of your estate for Friends Select School by including instructions in your will. When you make a gift to Friends Select School from your will or trust, you'll be welcomed into the Price Wetzel Legacy Society and join other supporters and friends who value the school and its mission.

One of the biggest tax advantages in charitable giving continues to be the double benefit donors receive when donating appreciated assets to Friends Select School instead of cash. By giving appreciated assets (like stocks held for more than one year), you'll get a charitable tax deduction for the full value of the asset and avoid any capital gains tax that would have applied if you had sold the stock and made your gift in cash. Please provide the following information in your request when directing your broker to transfer your shares to Friends Select: Friends Select School Friends Select Brokerage Account Note: It is important to notify Friends Select’s development office of the specifics of this transaction (stock name, share quantity, gift designation) so we can credit your gift appropriately. Many companies offer gift-matching programs for their employees. If you work for a company that matches gifts to schools, your contribution to Friends Select may be doubled or even tripled. And, you will receive full credit for both gifts. For example, if you give $500 to the Friends Select Fund and your company provides a matching gift of $500, you will be acknowledged as a member of The Benefactors Society for your gift of $1,000.
